Terms and Conditions for the Sudbury Trail Run

Introduction

Welcome to the Sudbury Trail Run ("Event"). By registering for this Event, you ("Participant") agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

Participation Agreement

1. Eligibility: Participants must meet age requirements and agree to follow all rules and guidelines of the Event. Participants under 18 must have consent from a parent or guardian. Participants under the age of 17 on event day are not permitted.

2. Health and Safety: Participants declare they are medically and physically fit to participate and will follow all safety instructions provided by the Event organizers.

3. Liability Waiver: Participants waive and release the Event, its organizers, sponsors, and volunteers from any claims related to injuries or damages that may occur as a result of participation.

Data Use and Privacy

• Personal Information: By registering, Participants agree to provide accurate and current information about themselves. This information will be used for the purpose of organizing, running, and evaluating the Event.
• Data Sharing: Participants consent to the sharing of their personal information with third parties directly related to the Event, such as timing companies, for the purposes of recording times, results, and providing participant support services.
• Photography and Media: Participants agree that any photographs, videos, or other media taken during the Event may be used by the organizers for promotional purposes without compensation.
• Data Protection: The Event organizers commit to protecting Participants' personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Participants have the right to access their personal data and request corrections or deletions as necessary.

Changes and Cancellations

• Event Changes: The organizers reserve the right to alter or cancel the Event due to circumstances beyond control, including weather, safety concerns, or legal restrictions. Efforts will be made to inform Participants of significant changes.
• Refunds: Refund requests will be governed by the Event's refund policy as stated on the Event website.

Acceptance of Terms

By completing the registration for the Sudbury Trail Run, Participants acknowledge they have read, understood, and agree to the Terms and Conditions outlined above. Participants understand their rights and obligations and agree to participate in the Event according to these terms.
